A Westchester County, NY native, Coach Edwards started playing in middle school and continued at Fox Lane High School as team captain along with receiving All-Section recognition. A transfer to Long Island University/CW Post secured a 2x semifinalist team distinction in the state championships. He retired as a stockbroker in 2018 Growing up outside of Charlottesville, Virginia, Coach Daniel started playing lacrosse at age 15 shortly after his football coach put a stick in his hand and suggested he give it a try. 2. Later at UNC Chapel Hill, he gave his game a rest and started swimming, later graduating as an All-ACC. Surge coaches love and honor this sport. These days in Atlanta, Rob plays with Southern Empire and has community coached youth lacrosse, on and off, since 2002.
